Obeah

Obeah is a form of magic/sorcery practices derived from Central and West African traditions mixed up with Christian influences, although in much less degree than in Voodoo. It is practiced mostly in the Caribbean region, and is considered as both white magic and black magic. It was brought to America by the Central African slaves, and was in mild conflict with the another form of folk magic, Myal, delivered by the slaves from the West Africa. The peak of conflict had time in the mid of the XIX century in the English colonies, as the side effect of fanaticism and spiritualism caused by the appearance of the comet combined with Christian millenniarism, resulting in disorders and violence. Many Myal men were arrested and sent to prisons, and because the world survived despite the fate, their beliefs were weakened, putting Obeah in the place of power.

HooDoo

Historically, most practitioners of hoodoo have been African Americans, but there have been some notable white root doctors.[5] Latinos and Native Americans[6] have also been practitioners. The origins of hoodoo are thought to begin with the African slaves, particularly in the American southeast, and historically, its existence has been documented in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.[7] Today hoodoo practitioners, like African Americans, can be found in destinations of the Great Migration, including major cities of the west coast and the northeast.

Voodoo, Voudou, Voudon

Haitian Vodou, Louisiana Voodoo, sometimes known as New Orleans Voodoo, West African Vodun

http://www.religioustolerance.org/voodoo.htm

Vodun has been freely practiced in Benin since a democratic government was installed there in 1989; about 60% of the population follows this religion. Vodun was formally recognized as Benin's official religion in 1996-FEB. It is also followed by most of the adults in Haiti who are also nominally Roman Catholic. It can be found in many of the large cities in North America, particularly in the American South.

Witchcraft

Witchcraft refers to the arts of Wicca (old english for "witch"), the ancient Celtic traditions... but the term was applied to all pagan traditions in Europe.

I know, it's a lot to take in, but interesting. There iare conflicting thoughts of origin, bit at least this is a vague history of some magical practices. Spellcasters are all over, but different ones have more of a gathering in different parts of the world.
